Keaton & Dorie Garrett are the crazy kids behind Walt's (named after the bestest dog). Dorie has killer experience as a Barista and is a lifelong coffee fanatic. She is happy to impart coffee knowledge and book knowledge-- her full time gig is rockin' it as a Middle School Librarian. She will be the cute one in the truck, so says her husband. Keaton, on the other hand, has tried many times to like coffee and just cannot make it happen; luckily, he is a business owner and brings some of that knowledge to the table. He claims he knows about coffee because he travels to its land of origin, Ethiopia, each year. He is, however, a tea connoisseur.
Keaton & Dorie are excited to introduce people to Walt's Coffee & More and although its namesake can't make an appearance in the trailer, he is there in spirit and in the availability of "pup cups" for any doggie guests! |

Our Truck's history
Our truck was originally a delivery truck for Grennan Cakes, a competitor of Hostess Cakes, founded by Philip H. Grennan in Detroit, Michigan, back in 1914. By 1919, Grennan Cakes expanded into the Grennan Cake Corporation, with branches in cities across the country. Specializing in ready-to-eat cakes, Grennan Cakes offered a much-needed break to housewives from the heat and hassle of baking, especially during the hot summer months. By 1924, they were delighting customers in over 482 cities and towns with their delicious cakes, cookies, and fried treats.
